YRP National Board (November 27, 2024) –– Young Risk Professionals (YRP) is excited to announce the official launch of its new chapter in Cincinnati, Ohio, marking a significant milestone in the organization’s mission to foster a supportive community for young insurance professionals across the country.

 

“We are excited about the launch of our Cincinnati chapter! As a prominent insurance hub, Cincinnati was on the shortlist of new chapters we targeted in order to expand our offerings across the industry,” said Whitney Harris, Chair of Young Risk Professionals. “We have in place chapter leadership who will be fundamental in continuing to build upon our chapter pillars for networking, mentorship, and education. I want to thank the National Board for making this launch possible.”

 

The YRP Cincinnati Chapter boasts a Board of Directors comprised of a group dedicated to growing YRP's presence in the Midwest. The board is led by Chair, Stephanie Lawson (Great American Insurance Group), Co-Chair, Leah Yeagley (Great American Insurance Group), Director of Finance, Armand Etienne (Peoples Bank), Director of Marketing, Colin Glass (Core Specialty), and Director of Student Relations, Kyleigh Roche (University of Cincinnati).  

 

YRP is thrilled to launch in the vibrant city of Cincinnati, a cornerstone of the Midwest insurance hub. As a collaborative platform for aspiring and established professionals in risk management and insurance, YRP Cincinnati is dedicated to fostering connections, sharing knowledge, and empowering the next generation of leaders. Our mission is to create a dynamic community where innovation, education, and professional networking can thrive, reflecting the energy and opportunity that Cincinnati offers.

 

The Young Risk Professionals Cincinnati Chapter is excited to kick off their launch with an inaugural event at Queen City Exchange on Thursday, December 12, at 4:00 PM. This event is the perfect opportunity for young professionals in risk management and insurance to network, share ideas, and celebrate the launch of our new chapter in the heart of Cincinnati.
